The Promise of the Hand

Published from Blogger Prime Android AppI have listened to teachings by great speakers such as Dr Myles Munroe, Lesley Brown and so many others. They gave messages about the gifts that we come in life carrying and I value the rich words.

On one afternoon, I personally got to have direct communication with God concerning gifts. I was about to eat an apple and the sight of the apple in my hand was so meaningful. At that moment I was given the message, 'The Promise of The Hand'. As you read through, visualise on the above picture which shows my hand holding an apple, I captured it right then. It will help you to internalize the message. By the way, I love apples. The love story between me and apples is a bonus.

The apple in the hand symbolizes the gift, the destiny, the blessings and your mission in life. In other words it is the purpose of your life. It is the why am I here? Why was I created?

The part of the hand that's holding it is you. Nothing else is going to be more of you than what you were created for. Without the apple you're just a hand. An empty housing. However because God brought you into this world for a great cause, he gave you a gift. No one has empty hands. We all came into this world with hands full of promises. If you pay attention enough, you can feel and realize it.

I love myself and also the set of things that I'm meant to deliver in this world. I'm dedicated to the need to effectively fulfill my mission in life. Part of which I'm doing by sharing this. I'm just a mouthpiece. I comprehend love from an angle that says that when you really love something or someone their happiness is your happiness, their growth makes you happy, you want to help them, you are there for them and you transfer your own self love to them. You ought to have as much love for yourself inorder to work on yourself. Be concerned about your well being and work on making yourself better. When that happens, you position yourself in the right direction to bring out the best of you and what you hold within.

Like I said the apple is the package within you. Your body and the mouth that's supposed to take a bite and eat represent the world, the people and everyone else that you will share your gift with. Those blessings upon you will be amazing grace to someone when you decide to share what you have with them.

The apple wasn't created to only be held in hand for admiration. It's of much use when you give it to people. When they taste it, they'll realise how tasty and how nutritious it is. They benefit more from it when they eat it. They realise it's value. That's how it is. Your gift was designed to be shared with the rest of the world, it is of more use to other people. They are the one's who need it the most. You are the hand that is holding it and that's supposed to share it.

Imagine holding the apple for ten more years without eating it. What would eventually happen is, your hand will grow tired of holding it and all the decay processes happen there. You are this hand. All of this will start to take place in your hand, in you. All the poisonous things building up will begin to affect you.

Scripture says God will bless the work of your hands. Your hand symbolizes where the action is supposed to be taken. It's supposed to feed the mouth.
Not acting on sharing that gift is like having your hand remain in the same position as it is in the picture. It will move from the point where it was a hand with an apple, from when it was promising, to where it is a hand with a rotten apple. Time has taken its course. That's what happens when you hold within you gifts, passions, dreams, something you know you're meant to do, you feel it, but you're just not taking any action to release it. That happens due to many reasons, most of the time excuses and we end up without putting in any gradual work to make it happen. Release the gift, for it is something that needs to come out, you have to let it out or it will build as a force that will act on you negatively.

Our blessings, gifts and our purpose never expire but the same reaction that occurs in the apple is what happens within you. As much as we like to believe that a blessed person will always be blessed, there is a thing called time. Time can act like it is stealing from you. The effects of losing to time will eat you up, depress you, mess you up badly till death. You won't even see anything outside that sea of poison in you. You turn into some sort of poison, poisoning yourself and others too. By that I also say it is important to know yourself, to develop yourself and seek light.

Closing off my message, I encourage you that each time you hold your favorite thing to eat. Think about it as your destiny and the gifts attached. Say to yourself if I keep holding it without using it for its purpose, it will rot in me and eat me up. Regrets and the thoughts of why aren't I doing this. What could've happened if I did it. I'm doing this but i want to do this. You never lose that guilt, conviction, endless thoughts and caged energy. It will start to react within but if you give it where it's supposed to go, you're not only setting yourself free but fulfilling the promise of your hand. You're like a writer who's saying give me a paper and pen and I promise you my hand.
That is more like opening the chapters of your life to more length, more substance and more satisfaction. You're actively taking part in a great cause in life. The world needs it. People need it. Think about it. Always think about what I just said.
